Jackie Breasley

Disability Thought Leader, Speaker and Author

Jackie Breasley is a disability thought leader, speaker, and author. She has lived experience with physical and sensory disabilities, experience navigating the NDIS, and has worked in the disability sector in a variety of roles for 13+ years. Some of the interesting and more unusual projects Jackie has worked on include the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan for Fremantle Prison and the social enterprise start-up “B-Hart” both of which have benefited from her passion for advocating for a human rights model of disability. She is also undertaking a Masters of Disability Practice and Leadership at Flinders University and is a member of her Local Council’s access and inclusion advisory committee.   Through raising awareness, Jackie hopes to inspire positive change for people with disability and more inclusive communities. She is obsessed with lending her voice to enshrining the human rights of people with disability.
